The organizations linked to below are some of the main users and developers of EPICS. However this list is by no means complete, there are also sites in Korea, Russia, Italy, Spain, China, and several other countries.
The following companies provide some services for EPICS users, either in the form of consulting or by providing device drivers for their hardware. This list is provided for informational purposes only, and is not an endorsement of the companies named or their products. Note that most EPICS sites write their own or share in the development of drivers for COTS I/O and instrumentation, see the Hardware Support database for details of the available drivers.
APS also maintains a more complete list of the member sites which also contains contact details for each site. This list may not be maintained in the future.
Markus Janousch did a survey in early 2000 of the various EPICS versions in use at different sites.
Steve Lewis maintains a list of many of the projects that use EPICS, although even this is unlikely to be complete. This is not identical to the list of members as some sites have several projects using EPICS, other projects may have frozen development of their control systems, or the EPICS work was done at a different lab.
