Hazards

Hazards found in all Primary Beam Areas

There are a number of possible hazards associated with work in the Primary Beam Areas, these include:

        • difficult workspace access
        • ionizing radiation and/or radioactive contamination
        • high voltage and high current sources
        • magnet hazards
        • non-ionizing radiation hazards
        • ventilation
        • temperature extremes
        • pinching or striking hazards, and
        • stored energy sources
