The following is common training required before performing your experiment at LANSCE.

Complete training specific to your research

The lists of required training below are not all-inclusive. Your host will notify you if you are required to complete additional coursework. All LANSCE users and visitors must schedule additional training and quiz completion with the Training Office prior to arrival.

Please note, if your experiment’s beam line requires Rad Worker II, please contact your instrument scientist for help in scheduling this onsite training.

If you are a user of pRad

Complete the following courses to allow for unescorted access to the pRad Dome and Counting House:

  • (21395) TA-53, Facility Radiation Protection Requirements (FRPR)
  • (21581) TA-53, MPF Sectors N and P Building Emergency Plan
  • (33804) LANSCE: Area C Hazard overview for PRAD OPS
  • (40394) TA-53, Primary Bean Area Access (PBAA)
  • (45956) pRad Required Equipment Review Training

Additional training will be determined by the hands-on work related to the pRad experiment.
